Not as bad as expected I guess, got a few cards to put towards the set... figures I pull the Barry Bonds when I already have it - but it's no biggie anyway. Glad to pull a Rafael Palmeiro I don't have... not heavily collecting him but have a small little collection of him that I get from when I find stuff here and there.
I'm just curious where you get the values for the cards you pull...I mean I can't see anyone actually paying the amount you have for most of the cards in these posts. Are they just from a big yearly edition Beckett? And please don't get me wrong, I love your blog...sorry if this is common knowledge or old news I might have missed.
ReplyDeleteNo worries.. yeah I am getting them from Beckett. And yes, I am aware that people generally do not pay Beckett value for anything - I'd assume most would go for half of that value or maybe in most cases actually quite a bit less than that. But since I don't intend to sell most of my cards I pretty much just accept the Beckett value, maybe even just to make myself feel better about the value of my cards haha but nah, no offense taken or anything - matter of fact I'm glad you asked. Thanks for checking my blog out, I appreciate it!
